WHY 1908
The Inland Empire is home to a growing community of civic leaders, entrepreneurs, public servants, and professionals shaping the future of the region. Yet despite that growth, there remains a noticeable absence of refined, private social environments designed for meaningful conversation, relationship building, and thoughtful exchange.
There are country clubs. There are restaurants and bars. There are networking events. However, there are very few spaces designed not around golf, nightlife, raising money, or selling you something, but around conversation, ideas, and community.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF GATHERING PLACE
1908 was inspired in part by the timeless social clubs long associated with the East Coast; environments where leaders gathered not simply to socialize, but to build relationships, exchange ideas, and shape institutions. The goal is to bring that same spirit of intentional connection to a region where it has largely been absent.
1908 is being created as a private, invitation-only club for professionals in local government and government-adjacent industries who value thoughtful environments, authentic relationships, and meaningful dialogue.
It is intended to be a place where civic and business leaders can:

Limited to the first 30 approved members, Founding Memberships are intended for those who wish to help shape the culture, traditions, and early community of 1908. Once all Founding Memberships are claimed, they will never be offered again.
